Part of my work in distribution is closely tied to research, and over the past four years I’ve been able to delve into how Peruvian films are circulating around the world.
I firmly believe that research is a way to democratize information and bring opportunities closer to initiatives that are still in their early stages.
Since 2022, I have published the following works:
- Approaches to the Distribution of Peruvian Fiction Debut Features (2013–2019)
- Circulation of Peruvian Fiction Debut Features in European Festivals (2013–2023)
- 2024 Report on Peruvian Cinemas
At the moment, I’m exploring alternative exhibition circuits in Peru and developing a working methodology to expand the research across Latin America.
