Synopsis: An 11-year-old boy begins to show symptoms of a hereditary blindness. During a family celebration, he discovers that his older sister has suffered a sexual assault. This event will lead him to uncover secrets in his surroundings and to rediscover the male figures around him.

Biofilmographies

Daniela Goto
Peruvian director and researcher with a Master’s degree in Directing and Staging from ECIB, as well as a Master's degree in Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies from UPF

Her short film Soy has been screened at festivals in Lima, Madrid, Bogotá, and Rio de Janeiro. Her academic and artistic interests revolve around identity, family, and the sense of belonging.

She is currently developing her first feature film, Las escondidas, to be produced in Peru, while her latest fiction short, Autorretrato, has begun its festival circuit, including the Málaga Short Corner at MAFIZ. Participant of Málaga Talent 2025.

Yazmín Trujillo

Graduate in Audiovisual Communication from PUCP, with a Master's in Fiction Screenwriting for Film and Television, and a Master's in Film Editing from ESCAC.

In 2022, her script project Las Escondidas received a development grant from the Ministry of Culture of Peru and was also selected to participate in the Screenwriting Development Workshop organized by the Ministry. She had previously participated in two editions of this workshop with other feature film scripts she has been developing. She currently works as an editor and script supervisor.
